Palmerston North Airport is delighted to be endorsed by Qualmark with the Gold Sustainable Tourism Business Award.

Qualmark is New Zealand’s official tourism quality assurance organisation and recognises excellence in sustainable business practices. Businesses are visited by a Qualmark Tourism Business Advisor and independently assessed against sector specific criteria. Following the evaluation, the business receives a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award based on their performance in economic, social & people, environment & culture and health, safety & wellness.

A Gold Sustainable Tourism Award identifies those businesses leading the way in making the New Zealand tourism industry a world-class sustainable visitor destination.
